There’s something about rainy days that just make me want to curl up with a good book, a hot cup of tea, and a nice music playlist running in the background. All the cozy vibes, right? But sometimes I end up spending like an hour trying to find the perfect playlist. There is one epic one out there that you can never go wrong with.
Music can add so much to an experience, especially while gaming. Listening to video game music during your normal day-to-day activities can add a much needer ounce of epicness. Which brings me to what I consider the best of the best, the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim soundtrack.

Nothing is more epic than exploring the northern lands of Tamriel while hearing “Dragonborn.” Jeremy Soule wrote the soundtrack for Skyrim and if Bethesda knows what’s good for them, he will also be behind the eventual upcoming Elder Scrolls VI. Here is a beautiful cover that I found, I hope it brightens your day like it did mine.
Magical, right? My next pick from the Skyrim soundtrack is “From Past to Present.” Imagine even starting your day to this by setting it as your alarm clock; your day is automatically off to a great and relaxed start. I found a beautiful violin cover by musician Taylor Davis. I hope you enjoy!
My final favorite from the Skyrim soundtrack is “Far Horizons.” There is just something so peaceful and serene about it. And hey, I know I can’t be alone here because someone liked it so much they put it in a 10 hour loop on YouTube.
So, what’s your go-to gaming soundtrack? Any you think we would enjoy? I’m off to go enjoy my book now…or you know, start Skyrim again for the 10th time.
