It’s that time of year again, Ghost Hunters! Phasmophobia has officially ushered in its 2025 Christmas event, Winter’s Jest, and this one promises to be one of the festive season’s creepiest experiences yet! From chilling new decor to Krampus himself roaming the maps, your holiday spirit is about to take a terrifying turn.

A harrowing blizzard has swept across the world of Phasmophobia, covering ten rotating maps in ice, tinsel, and holiday terror. These horror locations are:

❄️ 6 Tanglewood Drive

❄️ 13 Willow Street

❄️ 42 Edgefield Road

❄️ Camp Woodwind

❄️ Bleasdale Farmhouse

❄️ Grafton Farmhouse

❄️ Maple Lodge Campsite

❄️ Point Hope

❄️ Nell’s Diner

Scattered across event maps are Krampus’ bags of gifts and a list of requested items. Find the correct presents, drop them into the bag, and earn bonus event points. But beware: delivering the wrong item might earn you coal… or worse! Also, hidden gift boxes lurk around many maps. Interact with them for a quick scare and a point boost if you complete your investigation successfully.

To kick things off, Phasmophobia is offering Double XP and bonus money from all investigations during the first week of the event (Dec 16 – 23). This is perfect for leveling up equipment or prepping a crew for the coldest contracts of the year!

Like previous seasonal events, Winter’s Jest blends both community and personal progression. Community Goals unlock rewards everyone can earn together, and Personal Goals let you chase unique cosmetics and upgrades at your own pace.

Rewards include the brand new Toy Soldier ID Card & Badge Set, and an upgradable Winter’s Jest trophy.

The event is live between December 16, 2025 12:00 PM GMT to January 5, 2026 12:00PM GMT, so you have plenty of time to enjoy Winter’s Jest’s frightful fun!
